Q:
I injured my shoulder in a fall playing soccer about two
weeks ago. Had it checked out and was told it was a contusion of my bicep
muscle where it attaches to the bone. It hasn't improved and there is a bump
near the AC joint and the position of my shoulder seems to be set forward
relative to the other. I was wondering if I should get it re-evaluated?
A:
You should definitely have it reevaluated. "Ask The Doc" can
only give advice in general terms, and you have a specific clinical
situation that requires examination and accurate diagnosis. Make an
appointment with the Student Health Center.
