Q:

I am a healthy 20 year old female. I work out regularly, have a healthy diet, and one bad habit. I've started smoking. Nothing regular. Just one cig a week. Is this going to have a negative impact on my health? (Even if I keep the number at one a week). I just love the taste of smoke.

A:

No one knows if one cigarette a week can be harmful to your health. It is very unlikely to be helpful to your health and one cigarette, especially in someone who enjoys the taste of smoke--it is a highly addictive behavior and drug, so leaving it at that is very difficult!
