Q:

Hi

I had a quick question for you regarding birth control pills. I had seasonal prescribed by a doctor at home for me. I'm not sexually active, I use it to help with really bad cramps. I'm almost at the end of this pack and need to get it refilled. Will I have to have a pap test/pelvic exam, or can I just get it refilled since I'm not sexually active?

Thanks

Your physician would likely refill it for you at a local pharmacy without an examination, but may require that you have a blood pressure check, which is what we would do. If you want us to refill the prescription for you, you'd need to provide your physician's chart notes regarding your menstrual cramps and need for the hormonal treatment/suppression of your cycles.
