Hey Doc

I've been on Nuvaring for nearly a year now but have decided that I want to stop. (No longer sexually active.) I did not engage in sexual activity this past month to be sure I could go off of it safely too. If I was continuing birth control, I would have inserted a ring on Monday. Now it is Tuesday and I'm still having a period slightly. Usually, my period would have stopped by Sunday or Monday (I've noticed inserting the ring makes the bleeding stop if it's still continuing on my insert day.) Am I still bleeding slightly because I didn't insert a ring?
