Q:

I am really depressed right now and don't know where to turn. Holidays always make me depressed but I have been struggling with school also and its overwhelming. I need someone to talk to but I am not having any luck- with the break. Most of the time I just want to sleep so I can forget about everything- since none of my friends are around and nothing is open on campus. I am stuck in Bellingham for the break. Any advice or people I can talk to? Thank you.

A:

WWU Staff are still working and available to you. The Counseling Center is open and available for urgent consultations and I encourage you to make contact with them. There are also academic advisors available in the Academic Advising Center to talk about your concerns about how you are doing in school.

Call 650-3164 in order to arrange to talk with one of the counselors in the Counseling Center. The community Crisis Line is also available 24 hours a day at 1-800-584-3578.
