Q:

Dear "Doc",

My doctor recently put me on a new medication (Humira) that is administered by self-injection. As such, I need to be instructed in the proper procedure for giving myself this new medication. I wasn't sure if this is something that could be done here at the Student Health Center by appointment, or if I should go to the local hospital. Thanks!

Cheers

A:

Yes, we can administer it for you, or teach you how to do it yourself. Make an appointment with the Injection Nurse by calling 650-3400.
