Q:

If someone is exposed to a kind of flu to which she/he isn't immune, would this person get the flu - even if they are otherwise healthy?

A:

About 1/3 of non-immune individuals do not get sick at all when exposed (depending on the degree of exposure), 1/3 get minimal symptoms but do build antibodies from the exposure, and 1/3 get truly sick.
