I have Bipolar type I illness. Will I have to see a psychiatrist off campus for medication management? Does the Student Health Center carry any psychiatric medication, or do I have to purchase it elsewhere?
A:
We do have psychiatrists available in the Student Health Center to enrolled students and carry some psychiatric medications in our formulary on campus. You certainly can make an appointment to be seen by calling 650-3400 if you are a current student, although most psychiatric appointments are full now until finals week.
