Coping in the Aftermath of a Loss

Feather The death of someone important to you can feel like an earthquake has shaken your world and you are now left to put the pieces back together by yourself. It is easy to feel isolated in grief and afraid to burden friends who may not understand your feelings or believe you should be over it by now. You have become different. Sometimes, because grief can be so hard to experience, you may do things that get in the way of healing. The Counseling Center is offering a psycho-educational group that can help make sense of loss and provide practical tools for coping. Whether your loss happened recently or years ago, please join us.

Leaders: Maria Bakht, Psy.D. & Toi Giel, Ph.D.
