Overview on Staying Healthy
As you begin/continue your college career, learning how to take better care of yourself – physically and emotionally – is critical to your success as a student. Western Washington University students and college students all over the country ask themselves, “How do I focus on school and stay healthy at the same time?” It isn’t easy to find the balance between work and play, activity and rest, and time for yourself and for others. Searching for this balance is part of college life. One of the keys to success is learning to take better care of yourself in your busy world. Ask the Doc is a feature of the WWU Student Health Center’s web site that enables you to ask a health question anonymously. It is supported by a team of WWU health educators and health care providers that represent the Student Health Center, Counseling Center, and Prevention and Wellness Services.
