Stalking is a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause them to feel fear. Stalking is a form of sexual harassment prohibited by Title IX and is a crime.
Stalking may look like:
- Following or surveillance
- Inappropriate approaches or confrontations
- Appearing at place of work or residence
- Unwanted phone calls, emails, text messages, letters, or gifts
- Threats to family, pets, or property
- Damage to property
