Emergencies

The Student Health Center has CPR and defibrillator trained staff in the clinic for initial stabilization of life threatening medical conditions. All unstable medical illness or injury will be transported via 911 by paramedic personnel to the St. Joseph Hospital emergency room for further treatment.
 
When the Student Health Center is closed, urgent and emergent medical problems are referred to St. Joseph Hospital emergency room.
 
An after hours telephone nurse consultation service is available to students at no charge. To take advantage of this service just call 1-800-607-5501.
