Measles Requirement FAQ
Are you a Cyber Student?
Where can I get immunization documentation?
Immunization records can usually be obtained from stamped immunization cards, military records or your primary care physician's office. We'll also accept MMR shot dates recorded on high school transcripts, as well as the State of Washington immunization record form (this is the form printed in green ink that parents sign and submit to WA State high schools just prior to admission).
Where can I get vaccinated?
The WWU Student Health Center provides MMR (measles, mumps & rubella) vaccination at a cost of $15.00. Other options are the Whatcom County Health Department (located at 509 Girard St., Bellingham, (360) 676-6720) by appointment only, or other health care providers. A rubeola titer is available at the Student Health Center for $35.00.
Where do I send my documentation?
All documentation should be sent directly to the WWU Student Health Center (516 High St., Bellingham, WA 98225-9132). You may also FAX copies of your documentation to (360) 650-3883 or (360) 650-4580, or email your documents to us at Student.Health@wwu.edu.
What if I have additional questions?
If you have any additional questions, please email the Student Health Center at Student.Health@wwu.edu or call us at (360) 650-4839 (You'll be asked to leave a message, but we respond to these messages daily when classes are in session and within 2 business days during the breaks). To reach a live person (when classes are in session), you may call us at 360-650-3400 and select option 1.
