WWU Art Students to Present Ideas for Public Art in Bellingham’s Roundabouts at City Hall March 9

Students from Western Washington University’s College of Fine and Performing Arts will present proposals for public art in up to four of Bellingham’s roundabouts to officials from the City of Bellingham from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, in the City Council chambers.

The 10 students from WWU instructor Werner Klotz’s Art 334 class will present conceptual drawings and landscapes around their ideas of what the spaces could potentially look like to members of the city’s Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Planning and Community Development departments.
