WWU Department of Music to Present Composers of Western Concert on Nov. 26

<p>BELLINGHAM - Western Washington University&rsquo;s Department of Music will present Composers of Western, a group comprised of student composers and musicians, at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, in the Performing Arts Center Concert Hall.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The concert will feature a range of original works composed by WWU music students within the past year.&nbsp; Audience members will hear an entire evening of musical premieres as each work is being debuted publicly for the first time.</p>
<p>"Our composition students and performers are incredibly talented and passionate, which should translate into an exciting program of new works,&rdquo; said Roger Briggs, WWU Professor of Music and Coordinator of the Composition Program.&nbsp;</p>
