Spring 2013
Health at Every Size
The purpose of this 2-hour workshop is to explore the Health at Every Size model and provide another way of looking at health and wellbeing that is not solely about dieting and weight. We hope you will learn that your weight is not the only indicator of your health, and that health is much more than weight and diet. We hope you learn how to connect to your body in ways that are loving, enjoyable, and hopeful. In our conversation we will talk about health through a perspective of honoring our bodies, improving health and wellbeing through enjoyable activity and competent eating, and accepting and appreciating diversity in size and shape. This event is open to all students.
