Banner/FAMIS Forms and Reports (Internet Native)
Banner Forms and Reports (Internet Native – INB) allows the user to access all Banner Forms across the network using a Web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape.

Please Note: This is a new version of the software that serves Internet Native Banner (Oracle Application Server release 2). With this release we will no longer be using Jinitiator. We will instead be using native Java on the desktop.  Go here to view the Browser and hardware requirements FAQ.

To prevent other web links from closing a Banner Forms sessions with IE, uncheck the IE browser "Reuse Windows" option box. (Read the How to prevent other web links from closing a Banner INB session) documentation.

Browser requirements: IE 5.5 & above, FireFox V1.5 & above, Netscape 6.2 & above
Please note that the first time you run this version you will be prompted to install Java 1.5 on your PC. After you do this you will see a series of dialog boxes concerning trusting server security certificates. Click the choice that you trust this server/application. You may also click the check box which indicates you will always trust this server/application.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of 3/23/2007, Cisco has not released a "non beta" version of their VPN client software that is compatible with Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. A beta version is being tested by WWU IT staff and will be made available to Vista users when it has been established that,  no problems are associated with the install and that there are no security  issues.

Remote users will need to install the Cisco VPN Client. Read the
Remote Access to Systems documentation.


It is recommended that all remote users read the following documentation to familiarize themselves with the remote access policy to WWU computer resources, requirements and process.
