Home Tutorial Overview Formulas Adding Columns

Because the faculty Gradebook service has been discontinued by the Testing Center, this web-tutorial has been created to help previous Gradebook users to update their existing Gradebook templates and new users to develop their own by adapting a basic template.

There are two types of gradebooks, the "standard" and the "weighted." You can adapt an old "standard" gradebook to a new "standard," or an old "weighted" to a new "weighted." If you don’t have a copy of a past Gradebook, you can download and modify a Standard or Weighted Gradebook and adapt it to your current needs.

You can download your current class list from Faculty Web. Simply click on Faculty Services and enter first the Term and then the CRN for your current course to get a roster. If you have problems downloading your class list, call 7912 for assistance.

This tutorial has four steps: click on each heading below to view that part of the tutorial. The last three portions contain audio and video instructions.

Overview: View images of both standard and weighted gradebook formats and the letter grade assignment table.
Formulas: Setting and revising computational formulas
