NEXT MEDIATION SESSION SCHEDULED APRIL 15 and 16

WWU and the UFWW are continuing negotiations toward a first contract with the help of mediator Claire Nickleberry from the Washington Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC). The University bargaining team respects our faculty colleagues and the bargaining process which is new to the University culture. Our updates are intended to be factual and informational, recognizing that the process is ongoing and positions will change.  

The first mediation sessions were held on February 27 and 28 for the university and the UFWW to familiarize the mediator with the current agreements, proposals, and issues. The parties met to consider packages of proposals with the mediator on March 11 and 12 and on March 25 and 26.
