Western Awarded Presidential Honor Roll with Distinction
For the third consecutive year, Western has been selected to receive the national President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction award. Western is Washington’s only public university and one of two Washington institutes to receive this commendation for 2013. “In the Western campus community, there is enormous dedication and passion to make life better for others. The expertise of our faculty, staff and students is highly valued for meeting critical needs in the communities we serve throughout the state,” said President Bruce Shepard.
