Western Awarded Presidential Honor Roll with Distinction

For the second consecutive year, Western has been selected to receive the national President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction award. Western is Washington’s only public university to receive this commendation for 2012. According to Steve VanderStaay, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, this award is “the latest of several recent national awards recognizing Western’s commitment to excellence and community service.” Read the article to learn more about the award and other colleges and universities that were recognized.
