The College of Sciences and Technology is a very exciting place to be. Research
Behavioral Neuroscience (BRAIN)
- Behavioral Neuroscience explores the role of the nervous system in normal and abnormal behavior, thought, and emotion.
This interdisciplinary program is offered through the combined efforts of the Biology Department in the College of Sciences and Technology and the Psychology Department in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
- WWU Neuroscience Club: Further our understanding and involvement in neuroscience topics. Build connections with other Western students with similar interests and goals. In addition, we will discuss academic progession in the field of neuroscience.
Pre-Health Sciences
- Western students have a good record of success in gaining admission to graduate programs in the health sciences. Advising is available in most areas of interest.
Graduate Teaching Assistants
- Graduate TA's receive a stipend and a partial tuition waiver for eligible enrollment and are eligible for medical benefits. Contact your department for opportunities.
