Sue Hoidal, Assistant to the Dean
Sue came to Western after a number of years in administration for the Bellingham School District’s Special Education Program. She now oversees the college budgets, space needs, limited term faculty needs and all of the processes and procedures that keep the college humming along. If you have questions about procedures surrounding tenure and promotion, faculty or staff evaluations, vacancy pools, travel, annual fee proposals, summer session, or any number of other items, you will most likely be referred to her. Sue and her husband Steve have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren and enjoy spending their time on outdoor activities of all kinds.

Tonya Alexander, Office Assistant
Tonya is the newest member of the Dean’s staff and is probably the first friendly voice you hear when you call the Dean’s office. Tonya’s job is to keep everything and everyone in the office organized and moving in the right direction, according to schedule, which is just how she likes it! She is a busy mom of two great kids, a supporter of the arts and loves living in the Pacific Northwest.

Jennifer Mott, Program Coordinator
Jennifer is our Program Coordinator and may be the second friendly voice you hear when you call us! Among other things, Jennifer is our webmaster, graphics designer, and liaison for the Western Foundation office, which makes her key in our development and outreach efforts. Jennifer is a self-professed computer geek who loves the outdoors and is a proud mom of three school-aged children.
