CST Specific College Funding Priorities:
- Dean’s Fund for Excellence
- Unrestricted revenue for use by the Dean at his discretion to support excellence in teaching, research, student travel and special projects to enhance the learning experience
- Helping Hands Faculty and Staff Campaign for the College
- Support for student scholarships and program initiatives that enhance the student learning experience
- Department Equipment Growth Fund
- Support restricted to purchasing new equipment and gift-in-kind used equipment for all departments
- Department Funding
- Departmental funding for special projects, including lectureships, summer research fellowships, faculty symposiums, travel expenses and gift-in-kind surplus material support
- Student Aid
- Support restricted to undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships for all departments
- Diversity Programming
- Funding for outreach and scholarships for under represented groups in the sciences, mathematics, engineering and technical fields who also have financial need
- Innovation Development Center Project on the Waterfront
- Funding for the College’s waterfront technology enterprise zone initiative
- Community Education Project
- Restricted support for public lectures including Wizards at Washington, Science and the UniverCity and Leaders in their Field programs
