2008 Performance Presents.....
The Scientific Method!
Each year, Dance Makers offers a 45 minute
lecture-demonstration assembly. In 2008, we will use movement to explore the scientific method! Hypothesize-experiment-observe-interpret-conclude! Whether experimenting in science or dance, everything begins with a question. Your school gymnasium will be transformed into an interactive dance laboratory where students colloboratively experiment with shape making, spatial relationships and effort.
The Dance Makers assembly is tailored to reach ages K-5, and has enjoyed enthusiastic responses from teachers and students. Each assembly includes audience participation, opportunities for students to take the stage, and performances by Western’s talented dance students and alumni.
If you have had Dance Makers visit your school in the past, we thank you again for the opportunity to work with your students, and hope you will consider scheduling a performance for the 2007-2008 school year. If you are new to Dance Makers, we look forward to the opportunity to visit your school for the first time!
Performances will begin in January of 2008, If you are interested in learning more about Dance Makers, or would like to schedule a performance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (360) 650-7293.
