Each year, Western's Summer Dance Intensive features exciting opportunities for dancers, choreographers, and community members!
Enjoy class with Alan Good, principle dancer of 12 years with Merc Cunningham.
Expose yourself to the insightful teaching of Alan Good
and his company members as well as the professional dance faculty of WWU's Dance Program.
Perform in a concert of Experimental and
new works with Alan Good and Company!
Enroll in courses where Class Size is Limited and one on one feedback is the central component
of the experience.

of Modern Dance!

Western Washington University Dance Program now offers a B.A. and B.F.A in Dance! All summer courses are important
components of the Degree
Program, and could be your first
step toward receiving your Degree
in Dance at Western! Western also
welcomes
community members and visitors to
register for non-credit status or clock hours.
The six week summer session will end with a concert performance on Western's Performing Arts Center Main stage, and will feature the work of Western faculty and guest artists.
All Summer Session Dance students should plan on auditioning for the concert during the first week of classes!

Tuition and Fees
Tuition for University Credit or Clock Hours:
$147.12/credit or 10 clock hours
Tuition for Community
Members:
$185 for classes listed as 2 credit.
$200 for classes listed as 3 credit.
A mandatory enrollment fee of $60 is charged to all students enrolled during
summer session. The fee is non-refundable after June 27th.
A $50 course fee is applicable to most dance
courses. This fee pays for studio space, CDs,
live musicians and guest artists.
