The Outback Farm

Now in season! Matia Jones, Outback Coordinator, works hard to keep the community gardens healthy—but not just the soil. The Outback serves as an outdoor learning lab for Fairhaven and student groups (we even have a children's garden!) and donates produce in-season to the local food bank. Yeah!

Student Gaudelia Hurtado looks over the Scholar’s Day program with Babafemi Akinrinade. Gaudelia is pursuing the Law, Diversity & Justice Concentration, for which Akinrinade teaches courses such as International Human Rights. Gaudelia hopes to become a lawyer working on issues of Immigration.
