Admissions to Fairhaven is a selective, two-step process. Applicants must apply both to Fairhaven College and to Western Washington University.
For admission consideration submit the following to Western's main admissions office:
- Use the ONLINE APPLICATION form, or
the Western Washington University Uniform Undergraduate Application form (please mark the
box on page one in Academic Interests, Section 10 of the WWU application, indicating "Fairhaven College"). Request a paper application by phone:
WWU Admissions (360) 650-3440.
- $50 application fee;
- Submit official transcripts from each college,
university or professional school attended before or
after graduation from high school;
- High school transcripts (if applying as a freshman or
with 40 or fewer transfer credits);
- Freshmen submit official SAT and/or ACT test results
sent directly from the testing agency or high school
guidance counselor.

The following materials should be sent simultaneously to Fairhaven College:
- A Cover Sheet (PDF) with the following:
- A Personal Essay of Educational Intent (write about academic interests, personal
interests, work experiences, travel, hobbies,
multicultural experiences, etc.);
- Two Letters of Recommendation (signed and sealed) from
Faculty and/or Employers.
- Unofficial copies of Transcripts
- If required, the Fairhaven Admissions Coordinator will contact you for an interview.

January 15 for Spring Quarter, 2008
March 1 for Fall or Summer Quarter, 2008 (for Freshman)
April 1 for Fall or Summer Quarter, 2008 (for Transfer Students)
October 1 for Winter Quarter, 2009
