These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, talent, extracurricular activities, multicultural experience, leadership and in some cases, financial need. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be used to determine financial need and can be submitted online at www.fafsa.gov. Priority deadline is February 15th of each year.
Scholarship selection is based on information provided in Western’s application for admissions as well as additional information as required. Scholarship recipients must meet specified deadlines and must be formally admitted to Western Washington University.
These scholarships include eligibility criteria and deadlines as described in the Western Undergraduate Scholarship Brochure. This publication is available on the internet at http://www.finaid.wwu.edu/scholarships/ or from the Scholarship Center, Old Main 275.
