  Tracking Maintenance and Construction Work Requests

Understand Maintenance Work Types and the types of Work Orders used to accomplish the work to better track your work.    See Maintenance Type Codes for a completing listing the of work types used in FAMIS to understand how they will show when you are tracking work within FAMIS Self-Service.

  • Preventive Maintenance - PM
    • An individual work order is written for each PM.
  • Reactive Maintenance - RM
    • Either an individual work order is written for each event or the work is done on a Standing Work Order if the work falls within the work limits of the Standing Work Order
  • Corrective Maintenance - CM
    • Either an individual work order is written for each event or the work is done on a Standing Work Order if the work falls within the work limits of the Standing Work Order
  • New constructions - NC
    • An individual work order is written for each event
