Academic Custodial Services (ACS) provides cleaning services for Western's academic and state-supported facilities.
ACS uses "team cleaning" to maximize results with a focus on "Cleaning for Health." This has minimized the impacts of campus building growth that is not always accompanied by an increase in operating budgets. See "Leadership & Area Assignments" for team organization.
Services provided on a regular and routine schedule:
Additional services:
- Any cleaning service not scheduled on the Current Cleaning Task list can be provided on a recharge basis through submittal of a "Work Request" to the Work Control Center. The recharge rates are those approved by Western and published within the Fees and Rates book from the University Operating Budget Office. Examples are:
- Blinds, drapes, curtain cleaning
- Cleaning at special events
- Office move cleaning
- Upholstery cleaning
- Window washing
How to contact us:
- To inquire about regular and routine cleaning services, contact , Manager of ACS, at 650-3932.
- To request additional custodial services, call the Work Control Center at 650-3420 and submit a "Work Request" to the Work Control Center. To request services for a special event or conference, contact us as soon as it's scheduled. The more advanced notice we have, the better we can serve you.
- To request emergency repairs during evenings and weekends, call University Police Dispatch at 650-3555.
