- Assist with FM's Design Group
- Assist with public works projects as requested
- Cabinet design and construction
- Demolition work related to in-house projects
- Emergency response when necessary
- General carpentry work
- Maintenance and repairs to doors, windows, walls, cabinets and tables
- Renovations, maintenance and repairs as a team member with all other FM shops
- Renovations, maintenance and repairs in support of University Residences
- Sign making and installation in conjunction with the Paint and Sheet Metal Shops
