ApplyForAdmission

All applicants must complete the Graduate School's ApplyWeb application. Within the application you will be prompted to upload an unofficial transcript from each institution attended.

The Graduate School Application Fee is $100, and is paid by credit card or e-check at the time of application submission.

Depending on the program, you may also be required to submit letters of reference, a Statement of Purpose, test scores, your resume, and/or additional materials as specified below. Applications will not be forwarded to the department for review until all required materials have been received by the Graduate School.

  • A baccalaureate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from an accredited U.S. college or university, or an equivalent degree from a foreign university, completed within the past 5 years
  • Please note: A degree in “Speech Science” or “Linguistics” is not an equivalent degree. If you do not have a background in speech pathology/audiology or communication disorders, contact the Program Adviser immediately to determine your eligibility. Applicants who have an undergraduate degree in another discipline may meet this admission requirement by completing pre-requisite undergraduate coursework through WWU's Post-Baccalaureate Program.
