New Graduate Student Checklist

  • Visit your department office
Meet the graduate coordinator, your adviser, and other faculty members. Complete employment documents if you are a TA. Ask about student organizations and other ways to be involved in your discipline. Most departments also offer orientation activities to help you acclimate to the department and campus.

  • If you did not previously submit final transcripts
Submit requested final transcript(s) to the Graduate School. You will not be able to register until the Graduate School receives all required transcripts.

  • Health Center and Supplemental Insurance Information
Measles clearance must be obtained before you will be allowed to register. The Health Center is located on the corner of 21st St. and Bill McDonald Parkway.

  • Register Online
Register online through the Registrar's Office website by clicking on “Web4U” You will need your student ID number (begins with a ‘W’, first 8 numbers) and your pin. Your pin is the first 6 digits of your US social security number. If you do not have a US social security number, your pin is your birth date, MMDDYY. For security, please change this pin number after your first login.
