Wes Pope

Wes Pope has spent the last 3+ years working as a multimedia photojournalist at the Rocky Mountain News and Chicago Tribune. His video work includes trips to Africa and China as well as coverage of the 2008 presidential campaign.

Originally from Auburn, Wash., Wes is a graduate of the University of Washington where he majored in cultural anthropology.
He was a staff member on the year-long documentary project Chicago In The Year 2000 and was the recipient of an Illinois Arts Council Fellowship Grant. Other papers where he has worked include: the Santa Fe New Mexican, The Times of Northwest Indiana, the Tri-City Herald and The News Tribune (Tacoma) as well as internships at the Anchorage Daily News and The Dallas Morning News.
