Day: Friday, March 23rd Time: 4:00pm Place: BH201 Title: The Use of Syzygies Speaker: Haohao Wang Abstract: This presentation concerns finding the implicit equation of parametric surfaces in projective 3-space via syzygies in the form of moving planes and moving quadrics.  The concepts of regularity in bi-projective space will be introduced.
