"Full" Classes Policy

Students who would like to enroll in a class that is labeled "Full" should contact the individual instructor. For classes taught by a Graduate TA, the Lead Instructor for that group of classes makes the enrollment decisions. Instructors have different policies, so contacting them by e-mail and going to the first day of class are both very important. Generally, each Instructor keeps a waiting list, determines which students to admit to the class, and sends their names to the Math Office for a check of prerequisites, if necessary, and issue of an Override. Once an Override has been given, the student can put the relevant CRN in by hand on the Add/Drop page in order to register.
