Research Experience for Undergraduates

The Physics/Astronomy Department stongly recommends that students apply to participate in an Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) progam during the summer between their junior and senior years. A student who performs an REU during the summer between the junior and senior years may petition the department to have that experience count as one to two credits of the Senior Project, depending upon its nature and overall content.

Poster announcements which have been received by Western's Physics/Astronomy Department during the current school year can be found inside the Physics/Astronomy Student Study Conference Room (CF 390).

NOTE: Most application deadlines fall somewhere between January and April for the ensuing summer programs.
