Dear Alumni:

It is exciting to add an alumni link to the department's web site.  It gives me an opportunity to greet you and give you an update on the Political Science Department.  We welcomed two new faculty members in the fall of 2006.  Professor Bidisha Biswas and Professor Cynthia Horne both teach in the area of international relations.  Fall quarter is well underway and the rainy season is upon us.

The department hopes you will use the new alumni page to stay in touch with us and to contact classmates from your years at WWU.  Please take a moment to complete our on-line form - we'd love to hear from you!

We will be posting an alumni survey on the new alumni page in the near future.  I hope you will take the time to fill it out.  The survey will tell us more about your experiences as a political science student.  Results will be used to assess our program, making changes where needed.

Finally, I want to thank those of you who have supported the department over the years.  Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to offer scholarships, support guest speakers and student activities and contribute to the professional development of political science students and faculty.
