Classes beginning at 6 or later will have their final exams during finals week at the regularly scheduled time. For example, a class that meets TR 6-9 will have its final exam on Tuesday of finals week from 6-8 pm. The exam period should not exceed two hours.
|
- As a matter of policy, final examinations may be taken only at the times indicated in this schedule. No final exams, except laboratory finals, may be given before final exam week. A student who fails to take a final exam without prior arrangements acceptable to the instructor will receive a failing grade.
- If the final exam schedule would cause a student to take three or more exams on the same day, any of his/her instructors may arrange an exam later during finals week.
- Under unusual circumstances, an instructor may allow a student who has been making satisfactory progress to take a late final exam and receive a temporary incomplete (K) grade. The incomplete should be removed early during the next quarter.
|
- For classes involving both lecture and lab the final exam will be based only upon the meeting times and days for the lecture portion of the class.
- Two-hour classes and classes starting on the hour but extending beyond the next hour should schedule exams as if the class met only during the first hour.
