When a grant or contract is awarded to Western, an account is set up in the RSP from which the faculty Grant Director draws the funds. The Grant Accountant assists the Grant Director in the financial administration of the award including: monitoring of grant expenditures, preparation of monthly billings and financial reports and account maintenance. Specific details of the accounting services and procedures can be found in the Grant Director's Handbook.

Electronic Research Administration

As Electronic Research Administration (ERA) has become a reality PI's are required to be knowledgeable about searching for funding opportunities, submitting proposals and participating in other grant related activities. The staff at RSP is available to train faculty, staff and students in ERA activities.
