Funding Opportunities Mini-Grants, Grants-in-Aid,Manuscript Preparation and Pilot Project Funding |

Programs is committed to assisting faculty with research and scholarly
activities by providing small grants.
ProcedureTo apply for funding, fill out a funding request form (available from RSP) and return it to RSP, MS 9038. Be sure to mark the category of funding to which you are applying. RestrictionsBecause support is available from other university sources, these grant programs will not fund:
There is a funding limit of $4,000 per faculty member per year for the combination of these grants. Pilot Project FundingThrough the Research Advisory Committee, grants for up to $3,000 are awarded to assist faculty with pilot projects which will generate data needed to develop proposals for extramural funding. (No deadline, allow at least two weeks for a response.)Grants-in-AidThrough the Research Advisory Committee, grants of up to $2,000 are awarded to assist faculty with research and/or creative activities. (No deadline, allow at least two weeks for committee review.) Mini-GrantsUp to $1,000 for research-related materials, supplies, or services. Mini-grants are reviewed by RSP. (No deadline, allow at least one week for a response.) Manuscript PreparationUp to $1,500 to assist in the preparation of manuscripts for publication. Procedure: To apply for funding, fill out
