Bill Reed African American Scholarship

The Bill Reed African American Scholarship is a renewable annual award of $1,000 based on merit and need.  The scholarship provides support exclusively for African American undergraduate students who have been admitted to Western.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

1. be African American
2. be an undergraduate student
3. be a full-time student (12 credits)
4. meet the minimum 3.00 GPA

Preference is given to:

• students majoring in business, communication or computer science
• students who received the scholarship in any given year, providing eligibility criteria have been met
