Student Outreach Services, in connection with Western Washington University and dozens of other programs throughout the state and across the nation, provides information on a number of various internships, fellowships and opportunities to help students to develop their leadership skills will gaining valuable work and life experience.
Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans
The Soros Fellowship for New Americans supports thirty individuals each year for up to two years of graduate study in any subject anywhere in the United States. Students already in graduate school are eligible, though not past their 2nd year. The fellowship provideds $20,000 in maintenance and half tuition wherever the fellow attends. Candidates must be either holders of "Green Cards", naturalized citizens, or children of two naturalized citizen parents.Please direct any questions to:

Next Generation (NextGen) Nonprofit Leaders Internship/Scholarship Program
The AH Next Generation Nonprofit Leaders Program (NextGen) is a competitive internship scholarship/stipend program for American Humanics students.NextGen is designed to help a racially and ethnically diverse group of students with demonstrated leadership potential complete their AH certification requirements, specifically the minimum 300-hour nonprofit internship. NextGen Leaders will receive a scholarship of $4,500 from AH during their internship, along with access to and support from a network of nonprofit leaders who will serve as mentors.
