In the Summer of 2000, Tom Nerini joined the WWU team as an Assistant Director of Admissions-Multicultural Outreach. Four years later, Tom became the Director of Student Outreach Services. Originally from Arizona, Tom bounced around New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Ontario, Canada before settling in Bellingham. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's in Counseling at Northern Arizona University and most recently, earned his Educational Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, B.C. Tom’s outgoing personality, bag of card tricks, and interest in aerial acrobatics make him a hit among students and colleagues.
