What is Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation?
Vikings 101 is an exciting opportunity for you to move into your dorm one early and beat the rush of thousands of students! Student Outreach Services provides you and your family opportunities to interact with other students, staff, and faculty in a comfortable atmosphere.
When is Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation?
September 20-21, 2008
I don't live on campus - should I come to Vikings 101?
Yes! Even if you don't live on campus, you and your family will benefit from meeting staff and faculty, other students in your program, and the games and prizes!
How much does Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation cost?
Vikings 101 is free to students in Student Outreach Services programs, as long as you participate in at least three activities within the 2 day period.
Should my family members attend Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation?
Yes! Family is important to us! Also, we provide an information session just for parents and family.
How do I make a reservation?

Reservations must be made before September 5, 2008.
I’ve already been to Summerstart. Why should I attend Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation?
Summerstart is a great introduction to Western’s academics and programs. Vikings 101 allows you to move in early, interact with peer mentors and other students in your program, and integrates parents and family into to the Western experience.
Can I come to just one day of Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation?
We’d like to have you as long as possible, but you cannot make each event, plan ahead and attend at least three events for the FREE orientation.

Where should I park for Vikings 101 Early Move-In Orientation?

Is food service available?
Although the dining halls are closed until Sunday evening, Vikings 101 provides light refreshments throughout the day and an early dinner on Saturday and a continental breakfast on Sunday morning. Other eateries on campus are open to the public including Miller Market and Viking Union Market and Café.
