WWU Tennis

About Us

WWU tennis is a competitive club team run by students. Fundraising is accomplished by our team members to help raise money for all of our events and travels during the year With this money we have the opportunity to play teams in our league from all over the Pacific Northwest.  Some of the teams include U of Oregon, Portland State University, University of Washington, Washington State University, Simon Fraser, Seattle University, University of Victoria, and University of British Columbia.

Sectionals this year were held in Beaverton, Oregon and we were pleased to place third giving us an automatic bid to Nationals.

Once a year we make our way to the NIRSA national tennis tournament and compete against schools from all over the country.  Last year we placed third in the silver bracket and this spring we hope to place into the gold bracket.  Nationals will be held this year in Surprise, Arizona and invitations are extended to any of our local fans.

We also have brand-new courts located just below the campus services building so when spring rolls around, make sure to come check them out!

We would like to thank everyone that donated to our club. With your generous contributions we have been able to pay to send two teams to California and possibly to Nationals. We honestly would not be able to have the success we have been having without all of you who have helped us out.
