We know from research and from our own experience that participation in study
groups is an excellent way for students to supplement their individual
study. Students who have been in study groups in previous quarters
have found it very helpful as a way to compare notes, work on assignments,
discuss the material, and prepare for exams.

If you would like help setting up a study group, please fill out this form to

Here are some tips for starting a study group of your own:
- Ask people sitting
near you in class - look for students who are attentive, take notes,
and have good attendance.
- Ask friends in the
same class.
- Write a note on the
board before class advertising for other study group members (you
should check with your professor before doing this).
- Post a notice in
your residence hall (and nearby residence halls as well).
