The following information on campus safety and other matters is provided in accordance with applicable federal or state law. For further information on any subject listed here, contact the office of the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services.
Voter Registration
All students are urged to register to vote in local, state, and national elections. If you are a resident of Washington state, you can obtain a mail-in Voter Registration form by going to the website of the Washington Secretary of State. Otherwise, call your local County Auditor’s office or visit the federal Election Assistance Commission’s Voter Registration page to obtain a copy of the National Mail Voter Registration Form.
Alcohol & Other Drugs Policy Information
Policy information regarding the possession, use, and sale of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs on campus, and regarding enforcement of Federal and State alcohol and drug laws. Also includes descriptions of drug and alcohol-abuse education programs offered by Western.
Sexual Assault - Preventive Programs and Response Procedures
Policy information regarding Western’s programs to prevent sex offenses on campus and procedures to follow when a sex offense occurs.
Student Records Policy
A statement of the rights afforded students with respect to their educational records by Western’s Student Records Policy and the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Washington State Public Funding of WWU
Information on the amount of public funding allocated to Western by the Washington State legislature.
WWU’s Annual Security Report
This report includes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on Western’s campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Western, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. You can obtain a copy of this report in printed or alternate formats by contacting the office of the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services.
