Mold & Mildew in Housing
Condensation can lead to mold and mildew, so make sure you have continuous airflow within your space.
Do not panic if you find mold or mildew, it is most likely mildew rather than mold. Submit a ReADY request and staff will respond to your request accordingly. For more information on dealing with mold and mildew, please review this PDF: Mold & Mildew.

Faculty and Students can reach Access Managers in-person or via Zoom during weekly office hours:
- Monday: 11am - 12pm with Charlie Flewelling
- Tuesday: 2pm - 4pm with Gretchen Rumsey-Richardson
- Wednesday: 10am - 12pm VU 720 with Amelia Flores
- Friday: 9am - 10am with Kathleen DeNicola

Masks are strongly encouraged in the DAC offices and Testing Center. Masks available at door and upon request.

Alternative Testing
If you're approved for alternative testing accommodations, you must schedule your in-person tests 5 business days in advance of quizzes and/or midterms and 10 business days in advance of your final exam. Students applying reader/scribe accommodations must schedule all exams 10 business days in advance.
Students who submit late requests will be unable to test in the DAC with accommodations and will instead be required to test in the classroom without accommodation.

Emailing the DAC
When emailing the DAC, admitted students should use their Western emails. Email addresses sent to DAC from outside the University are more likely to be filtered into Junk. If you don't know how to check your Western email, click here for assistance.

Disability Outreach Center
The Disability Outreach Center (DOC) is a resource for disabled students and allies. The DOC connects students with community resources, raises awareness, and advocates for disabled students’ human and civil rights.
